Oregon - (Oregon Weight Receipt & Tax Identifier)

Oregon's Highway-Use Tax is a weight-distance tax based on the number of miles traveled in Oregon and the weight of the registered vehicle. You need an Oregon Weight Receipt and Tax Identifier if your vehicle travels through Oregon and has a gross weight of more than 26,000 pounds. Once an Oregon Permit has been issued, monthly reports must be filed. After one year, if you account is in good standing, you may apply to report on a quarterly basis. In addition to an ODOT Weight Receipt and Tax Identifier, Oregon requires a bond of all new carriers. The amount of this bond varies. Bicehouse Consulting will file your Oregon application for a fee of $50.00 for one vehicle. Additional permits are $8.00 per vehicle. Bicehouse Consulting will file your Oregon Weight Monthly Report for a fee of $25.00 if there is no IFTA Report.
